The Tot Weach Foundation carries forward the spirit of Major General Joseph Tot Weach — ensuring that every orphan has a seat in school, every hungry family has food on the table, and every sick child can access care.
In memory of Major General Joseph Tot Weach
A life of service — now honoured through education, food, and care for the most vulnerable.
Our Impact
The Tot Weach Foundation donated exercise books, pens, pencils, and other essential learning materials to children living in the Protection of Civilians (POC) Camp in Juba.
The Foundation delivered food packages including maize flour and cooking oil to elderly and vulnerable community members at the POC Camp, Juba.
What We Do
Covering school fees and providing uniforms, books, and essential supplies so orphans and vulnerable children can stay in class and build their futures.
Delivering staple food support to households facing hunger in Gambella, Akobo, Ulang, and UNMISS IDP camps — because no family should go to sleep hungry.
Helping vulnerable people access basic medical care and critical supplies, with priority given to children and the elderly who need it most.
Our Founder
Nyawech Tot Weach is the Founder and Executive Director of the Tot Weach Foundation. Inspired by the life and values of her father, Major General Joseph Tot Weach, she established the Foundation to ensure that his legacy of service and compassion lives on in every community they touch.
Under her leadership, the Foundation has delivered education materials, food aid, and medical support to hundreds of orphans, elderly, and vulnerable families across Juba's IDP camps, Gambella, Akobo, and Ulang — turning grief into purpose, and memory into mission.

Our Namesake
"A man whose life was service — whose memory is our mission."
The Tot Weach Foundation was established to honour the legacy of Major General Joseph Tot Weach. In his name, we are committed to reaching the most vulnerable — the orphaned child who cannot afford school, the family without food, the elderly person without medicine.
Every programme we run is an act of remembrance — and a promise that his spirit of care lives on in our communities.
Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or partner with us — your support directly reaches children, families, and communities in South Sudan who need it most.
